Good news! Our Contest #3 finally starts now! Send us your best LANDSCAPE image taken using your mobile phone/mobile device and get a chance to win $100. 5 Runner ups will win a special prize.

  • All participants get a chance to experience our long awaited Mobile Phone Photography Project. 
  • Deadline for submission of entries is on April 17. 
  • Online voting starts on April 18 and ends April 19.
  •  Please email your entries to j_radia85@yahoo.com with the subject “contest #3″.  
  • Only one picture per contestant will be accepted. Please make sure your file has EXIF info so that we will know if it was taken using mobile phone.
  • After sending your photo, please leave a comment below and tell us what phone and app you used

    My picture was taken in Roma by an iPhone 4S and I’ve used many apps : PS express, Camera+ and Snapseed.

    Thanks to everyone whose gonna vote for me ! It would be amazing for a 18 years old girl who’s trying to be a good photographer :)

    I have been on many adventures with my iPhone. This image was taken in Iceland.Captured with ProHDR, Processed with Autostitch and Snapseed.

    I love teaching what is photographically possible with the iOS applications.

    My shot is from an iPhone4, not with HDR and sharpened in Lightroom. After this I have given some ligth in Aviary on Flickr and taken down the structure in the sky a little.

    I used an iPhone 4 with Hipstamatic for my picture – no more.

    I was in a train and I had some luck : sun was crowding just behind some trees.

    I’m not not sure exif will come through, Snapseed seems to erase the original exif information.

    Thanks for posting this contest. The photo I submitted was taken with an iPhone 4 and had very, very, very tiny color boost using Snapseed. Other than that, the colors are exactly how it looked on the day I took it.

    My image is of the trig point on Steel Rigg a hill on the Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland, UK, and the hills beyond.

    The shot was taken using the hipstamatic app on an iphone 4, in the late afternoon of a day in September 2011.

    I shot this image mid way around a training run, and like the way that the sun catches the metal inlay of the trig point and layers of hills beyond.

    Lanscapes ca be difficult to capture on mobile phones as the lens do not lend themselves to longer shots were much of the finer detail can easily be lost, so i’m looking forward to seeing the results.

    The image has not been retouched in anyway after being shot.

    My picture was taken in Seattle on the iPhone 4s. I also used the Ollo Clip wide angle lens. It was then edited on photoshop express, photoshop touch, pixlromatic and finally basic camera! Sounds like a lot (and it is!).

    My photo is entitled “The Great South Wall”. It was taken on one of two sea walls that control the tides in Dublin Bay, Ireland.

    The camera used was the Hipstamatic 231 on an Apple iPhone 4.

    My shot (“Mirador de El Time” – “The Lookout Time”) was taken on La Palma island in the Canary Islands – Spain, with an iPhone 4 and “Lens + application” that is a bit naughty app because it deleted some EXIF data

    Never under estimate the power of a phone camera. It can take nice picture if you have the skill and knowledge. Many a time, my phone is the only photography gear available.
